Why Nobody's Using Your Website

I've been successful in setting up a Bloglines account (after a bit of trouble getting my account validated) and have created several RSS feeds. It's a great way to follow things you're interested in, but creating subscription lists that work well is not a simple task for a baby blogger who doesn't quite get all this. I'm also not too swift at this Boolean search thing yet, but am making progress after my first, waaaay too broad lists produced everything from porn to completely blacked out pages (can't imagine what those were if the porn got through). Keep in mind that my first attempt at key words were things like "charity" and "charitable giving" and "donor." All I can guess is that lots of strippers are named Charity.
Now I'm trying to figure out how I link and article I've found to my own blog. The blog
Monkey Bites has an interesting link to tech pundit and
Meetup co-founder Scott Heiferman's post of
50 Reasons Why More People Aren't Using Your Website. Some of it is funny, but there is much wisdom within this list. Let's see if I can make this work.
Unfortunately, it appears that Monkey Bites doesn't allow trackbacks, so I just cut and pasted this info. Drat. I don't get to learn about using trackbacks today. I'll keep trying.
